Egidio (Gi) was born and raised in the small town of Tortora in Calabria (pictured here). His passion for local, traditional Italian food was passed onto him by his parents over fifty years ago. He has always been honest to this tradition – and is determined that the food prepared, cooked and served at his restaurant offers the finest, authentic Italian cuisine.

Fresh ingredients

Gi has spent around 30 years travelling into London’s Smithfield and Billingsgate Markets, to hand pick the produce served in his restaurants. During this time he has established relationships with the best people in the leading markets in London. They now know the incredibly high standards that Gi demands and will deliver only that – the best.
This obsession for quality ensures his customers get the finest and most diverse foods available.
